I want to give Marc the benefit of doubt that his withdrawal is because of family reasons and personal finances. I have always known Marc to be a man of integrity. I would hate to discover that Marc placed Democrats in a bad position, without having the ability to recruit and/or select another viable candidate before the deadline, to become a lobbyist. Please say it ain't so!
ReplyDeleteI am very disappointed by this last minute withdrawal. I like Kathleen Law, but I thought that Marc had the better chance of winning this seat. It is hard for me to understand why he waited until the very last minute to make this move. I don't know if we are being given all of the reasons why Marc did this. Something doen't seem right.
ReplyDeleteThis is a shocker. I know that Marc had some very dedicated staff and workers who put their heart and soul into his campaign and I feel badly for them. Why did he wait until the last minute to withdraw? Isn't Marc embarrassed?
ReplyDeletePeople are raising a lot of questions. Others would have liked to compete. Credibility is coming into question. Is Kathleen Law a campaigner? Can she win in this part of the Senate District?
ReplyDeleteI like Marc and I thought that he did a good job as our state rep. I also thought he would do a good job as our state senator. I know nothing about Kathleen Law and before Marc mentioned his endorsement for her, I had never heard of her. I don't know if she has any following in Northville. I fear not. However, I am a bit puzzled by Marc's statement that he doesn't know what he is going to do in the future. How does a responsible head of a family who has a wife and children to support leave a steady paying job in this economy and not have his next job already lined up?
