Michigan's Supreme Court

Last night, over 40 NDC members and supporters gathered for a town hall on the Michigan Supreme Court. The principal theme was that Justice Young has to be replaced with a consumer friendly Democrat in November 2010 election. Ways of defeating Young were discussed. What do you think?

    I know so little about the issues regarding the Michigan Supreme Court. I should have attended last night's meeting. I presume that a Democratic court would be more likely to protect the rights of the individual citizen and that a Republican court would protect business. Is my presumption correct?

    Unfortunately, I am like Patrick. I know virtually nothing about the Michigan Supreme Court and have little understanding of how it impacts our lives. I need to learn more so that I can be an informed voter Next November.
